I am a guardian of Mother Earth, an earth angel-

watching and praying for the recovery of this beautiful planet.

I have seen the devastation of the lands,

the total disregard for the beauty-

taking and taking, digging, and abusing, mother earth is rebelling-

She says no more taking over my sacred mountains,

no more nuclear waste dumps,

the constant throw away society we have created. Creating a

 society of throw away items, fast, easy, cheap, throw away

 children, throw away lives.

Our animals and plants cry out and rebel.

Oh for the beauty of this earth-

Divided with lines, and boundaries, walls, fences, ownership,

wanting more and more.

Wars, devastation, killing, murders, bombs,

No more will earth stand by and allow this to continue-

The floods, the fires, the earthquakes,

the loss of lives and especially property-

Oh God I pray for this mother earth and all of its creatures-

let us listen to the cries to the calling out for help-

Let me be part of the solution

not contributing to the wastefulness of this society-

Help me to build, rather than destroy, let me live in peace,

not in a constant demand for more and more.

Let me give away all of my excess that sits in my closets and rots while others go without. I am so blessed with bounty- allow me to share rather than to hold on to.

Let me live a life of respect for all living creatures- let me live as a living guardian for you. I know my purpose, I know my calling- I have been here before on this mission of beauty and creation.

Earth guardians- blessing and rejoicing in the beauty and bounty of this planet. Seeing the beauty in every plant and every tree in the birds and the insects- all Living a life of respect and honor- holding all dear to me- touching the beauty and the bounty. I thank you every day for the gift of the sunrise and the gift of the sunset. The stars at night and blessing of the moon. WE have lost touch with the land, with the creatures- wanting to control, wanting to take over, wanting to destroy those who are different than us, wanting to change them. Change comes from within each of us in our hearts. AS our hearts reach out and touch others we grow- we are all part of the whole- it is not us or them- it is all ,it is one world, one planet ,all people are connected ,all beings are connected.

We are all part of the thread of life- weaving a new world...
